Watch Journeyfit train University of Arkansas - Logan Brown, Ole Miss MB - Bayleigh Scott and University of Virginia DS - Kristen Leland. We will do all physical training at Journeyfit (more info below).


7-Week Volleyball Technique & Performance Program with Elite Coach/Trainer Victoria Thomas and Khat Bell.

Train with best 4 DAYS a week for 7 weeks. The program incorporates 2 days of skill and technique drills (volleyball), plus 2 days of explosive speed and agility training (strength and conditioning).

There is no camp around that offers both with the highest quality of coaches and trainers. The first week will start with fundamental skills, Special attention will be given to ball control. Mid-week the girls will incorporate volleyball specific conditioning tailored to increasing verticals and explosion. Towards the end of the week, the girls will engage in competitive play. Athletes will perform exercises and drills that increase strength and speed, and improve explosiveness. All athletes will be given a nutrition packet and must complete a nutrition consultation. By the end of the program, muscle memory should be instilled such that the execution of skills becomes second nature. But wait there is more …..

 

Nutritional performance for athletes - With us Nutrition is made paramount.

All athletes will be given a meal plan and must complete a nutrition consultation. The Consultations will be scheduled in small groups. Details given upon registration.

Group 1 (Only 50 players accepted total): Incoming 6th Graders, Incoming 7th Graders, Incoming 8th Graders. 
Group 2 (Only 50 players accepted total): Incoming Freshman, Incoming10th, Incoming 11th, Incoming 12th graders and College Players.
 

Group 1: M and W - 9am-10:30am, Tu and Th - 10:00am-11:00am

Group 2: M and W - 10:30am-12:00pm, Tu and Th - 11:00am-12:00pm

*Once you complete registration you will be sent an official calendar

Our volleyball players will have sand workouts multiple times throughout the summer to increase speed, agility and explosiveness.

FREQUENTLY ASKED Q&A

Question: Can I give you a hug because this is exactly what I have been looking for?
Answer: You sure can!!

Question: I really want my daughter to improve in her specific position. With a group will this be possible?
Answer: Every skill that your daughter needs to be a successful volleyball player will be performed at this camp. We have even designated days (Mondays) where we will do positionals so that your daughter can work on perfecting her position. Wednesdays are dedicated to all skills, a lot of reps and a lot of scrimmaging.

Question: We are out of town/have prior engagements that will make my daughter miss 2 weeks of camp? What should I do?
Answer: The best value package price is $585. It is discounted based on the 7 week commitment. The normal cost is $150 per week. We recognize that not everyone can take advantage of the best value and attend mutiple weeks. We also suggest that you find what is the most cost efficient for you.

Question: Do you have any evening options available? I can’t get my daughter to the location in the morning.
Answer: We only have morning options available however if you are need of help with transpiration we have a very reliable car pool system. Please email us at jfvolleyball@journeyfit.net and let us know your location and we will see if we can get you in our car pool system.

Question: I am unsure if my daughter will be able to join, but there is a major possibility. Should I register anyway?
Answer: Yes most definitely!! Last year we had a waiting list so even if you are unsure REGISTER!! We can move you off the registration list as long as you confirm by May 5th.

 

Khat Bell Trained by Coach Victoria Thomas for FIVB Professional Volleyball tryout summer 2018 (click video to play).

Khat Bell, arguably, is one of the most explosive volleyball players to-date. Early in her career, Bell recognized herself as an athlete that could play -- and excel at -- just about any sport. It was around 8th grade year when Khat began her technical training in volleyball, transforming from an athletic volleyball player to a pure volleyball "beast" on the court. The rest is history.

At just 16 years-old, the Texas native represented the United States at the 2009 FIVB Girls’ Youth World Championship in Thailand. as a member of the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team. A 2010 Under Armour High School All-America First Team selection and a ranking as the No. 2 recruit nationally by PrepVolleyball.com followed closely, making Khat a recognizable name in the sport of volleyball.

Khat went on to dominate at University of Texas, playing every position her coach required of her -- all while racking up numerous accolades: Three-time AVCA All-American, four Big 12 conference championship rings, 2013 Volleyball Magazine Second Team, 2012 COBRA Magazine Defensive National Player of the Year, three-time All-Big 12 First Team honoree, and the list goes on.

Upon graduation from University of Texas in 2015,  Khat was drafted to GS Caltex, a top tier volleyball club in South Korea. There, Khat is recognized as one of the highest paid professional women's volleyball players in the sport's history.  Upon a successful season, Khat was contracted to play with the Puerto Rico -Carolina Giants, immediately after her season with Korea ended.

Bell understands the importance of, and vitality in, technical training and conditioning for volleyball.

As a guest clinician, Khat will take over one full day of Varsity: Skills, Condition, Play to implement her special technical training to all players. She is more than excited to share this experience with the girls.
