12-WEEK TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE
JOURNEYFIT’s Transformation Challenge has become a annual event that takes place at the beginning of each year, in which sign up and pledge 12 -weeks of bettering themselves by cutting out unhealthy habits that aren’t serving them and creating the discipline needed to see real change. It may sound intimidating, but we instead encourage you to view it for what it truly is: a kick-start to a fitter and healthier 2023!
This challenge, which begins January 8th, isn’t just about numbers. It’s not about weight. It’s not about seeing if you can be in better shape than anyone else. The New Year’s Transformation is transforming yourself, your behaviors and, ultimately, aspects of physical fitness.
Throughout the 12 weeks you’ll get the coaching, support and guidance (you need) to help you get lean, build muscle and take control of your body. Along with the accountability, community, tools, and strategies for you to keep the results for good.

Who’s it for?
EVERYONE! We work with all kinds of people looking to change their body to look, feel, perform and play better (including many who have never belonged to a gym). We’re all about getting you results and we’re committed to being a fitness home that you actually love.
If you’re a newcomer, attending your required weekly sessions and adjusting your nutrition habits will accelerate your ability to achieve your fitness goals as well as help you make a change in your behavior when it comes to consistency and health habits.
If you are already an avid and consistent member it’s the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself to establish new and specific goals, improve your nutrition habits and use these 12 weeks to hyperfocus on them.
Anyone looking to better themselves from any fitness level will benefit from this Challenge.
How does it work?
After joining the challenge, you will receive an email with access to the JOURNEYFIT Coaching app. In the app you will provide your fitness history and your goals for our coaches to review and will have easily available to them to better guide your during the challenge.
The 12-weeks is broken up into 4 phases each lasting 3 weeks. At each phase you will be provided nutrition, training and cardio assignments. Weekly, we will have video coaching calls to either explain the phase requirements or simply to provide additional accountability.
At the beginning of the challenge, participants will be randomly divided into 4 Accountability Teams. At each phase teams will have an assigned Accountability Coaches to keep them motivated and engaged. The coaches will rotate with every phase of the challenge so that all participants will have the opportunity to be led by every Accountability Coach.
Each phase the team that is the most consistent with tracking their training sessions and nutrition habits will win a prize!

Follow the Nutrition Plan. (Most important)
Complete your before Scan and before Photos before January 8th.
Log and track your habits in the JOURNEYFIT Coaching App. (2nd Most important)
Check-in to the weekly Live Coaching Calls
Complete and submit your After scan and Photos before April 1st.
Check in to a minimum of 3-5 JOURNEYFIT training sessions a week. Workouts can be Classes, Personal Training or Small Group PT. A typical schedule could be 2 Small Group Sessions, 3 Classes for the week or 2 PT sessions and 3 Classes for the week.
Cost of the Challenge:
A Challenge entry fee of $50 + $463.50 Monthly.

How is the nutrition?
The 12-Week Nutrition Plan teaches you how to properly maintain your most valuable possession; your health. You will learn how macronutrients and micronutrients affect your body's performance. This knowledge will help you safely and effectively push your body physically to a new performance level. The nutrition plan is broken into 4 phases and involves eliminating processed foods, and eating mostly high nutrient dense vegetables and fruits.
How is the training?
Our Small Group Specialty Training was created so that our clients could have an affordable solution to building strength, lean muscle and performance. While the Class Training sessions focus on fat loss and conditioning, in the small group PT sessions we focus on lifting weights, building strength and improving performance. The groups have between 4 - 9 people with coaches following a structured and adaptable program (we adjust to the individual) as well as over-seeing every part of the training so it’s safe, effective, fun and challenging.

You will have access to ALL the session times listed below. The session in BOLD are Small Group Specialty Training. It’s suggest to attend 1-3 of theses sessions a week if our schedule allows. The unbolded class times are the standard classes. It’s suggested to attend 2-4 of these sessions a week in addition to the Small Group Specialty Training.

Personal Training is our most individualized and all inclusive form of training. Each session your coach will show up and push you to achieving the results that you’ve always wanted.
How to succeed in the challenge?
1. Sign up! Just do it now and you’ll have leaped over the first hurdle. The cost to join the challenge is a one time payment of $50 + the cost of your JF Advance or JF Accelerate Membership.
2. Download the JOURNEYFIT Coaching App and set goals for your challenge: weight loss, strength and healthy habits.
3. Download the JOURNEYFIT Studio App to start booking sessions. The earlier you can zero in on times and coaches, the better! Plan your workouts weekly and book in advance for added accountability.
4 . Follow your in-app program and check-ins. Complete your workouts and track your habits using the JOURNEYFIT Coaching App. You’ll have exclusive access to lessons built into the app, with times, progress trackers, and everything you’ll ever need to see succeed… plus more surprises you’ll get once you’re in the JOURNEYFIT family.
5. Find an accountability buddy. This could be a fellow member with whom you commit to the challenge together, a team member or a friend who will ask you how your journey is going and who will keep you motivated. Extra layers of accountability can drive you when motivation is waning.
6. Stay engaged. The Coaching app gives you easy access to your coaches, nutrition help, training and accountability so you’ll never feel lost or confused.

This Challenge is an introduction to the JOURNEYFIT Coaching app! You will receive exclusive access to the JOURNEYFIT Coaching App to help track your workouts, progress, before and after photos, weight in etc. The challenge will kick off with a Lift & Sip Party Exclusive to Challenge Participants. Participants are divided into teams for additional accountability, teamwork and motivation.

Each week, we will check in on (days) on ZOOM at TIme:am. The Coaches will provide feedback for the week and introduce the 3 phases of the challenge. This is also a time to check in on how you are doing in the challenge and ask any questions.

Your Before & After photos will be taken at your JOURNEYFIT location and uploaded in the JOURNEYFIT Coaching app. There will be designated times to book times for your Before and After Photos. Three poses of “before” photos (front view, side view, and back view) as well as three poses of “after” pictures should be taken. Recommendations for these photos are as follows:
Dress in swimsuit or similar clothing
Sports Bra and shorts for women
Shorts for men
Show 3/4 body or full body to show weight loss or transformation
Standing comfortably, without pushing out or sucking in your stomach
It’s encouraged that you also take photos every 3 weeks and upload them in the JOURNEYFIT Coaching app for additional accountability and check- in measures.

A JF committee of 7 judges selects 10 finalists, determined based on “before” and” after” photos 50% and stats 50%. Then, a second round of voting will take place as each committee member selects 1 finalist from each location. 3 winners are selected, 1 from each JOURNEYFIT location.
