Cancellation & Late Policy
If you are unable to attend a scheduled private or small group training session, you must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance; failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in full payment for session.
Cancellations should be completed and/or rescheduled online through JOURNEYFIT’s third-party scheduler, Acuity (the same way you scheduled). Inability to contact trainer, via phone call or text message, is not a viable excuse for no-showing or canceling late and failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in full payment for session group session or private training session.
We ask that you arrive early or on time for all training sessions, especially group sessions as not to disturb other clients. Clients arriving late for their scheduled session will receive only the remaining time unless prior arrangements have been made with the Trainer.
The expiration time for all training pass(es) and session(s) is as follows from date of purchase: GROUP SESSIONS - 1 drop in session must be used within one (1) month, eight (8) pack group sessions must be used in = two (2) months. PERSONAL TRAINING – one (1) drop in session must be used within one (1) month, eight (8) pack personal training sessions must be used within two (2) months, 12 personal private training sessions must be used in two (2) months, 16 pack personal training sessions must be used in three (3) months, 32 pack personal training must be used in four (4) months.
All monthly auto pays are a monthly commitment from date of purchase and will continue to renew every month, unless a written message has been member provides written cancellation 15 days the last day of the month when auto-renew will end.
JOURNEYFIT LLC uses an external company to manage the direct debit payment system.
No training refunds will be issued for any reason including, but not limited to illness, relocation, and unused sessions. These sessions may not be transferred to another client.
If the client is unable to continue scheduled training sessions for medical reasons, JOURNEYFIT LLC will discontinue any charges on clients account and/or extend training package expiration date with written documentation provided from client’s physician.
Operational and Facility
JOURNEYFIT LLC reserves the right to vary, add or eliminate from time to time the open hours or Scheduled Hours of any of our facilities, classes or services. Please check all timetables and member information for changes. You agree and accept that a particular facility or service may not be available for participation due to a prior booking, mechanical breakdown, fire, loss of lease, or any other reason. You agree not to hold the JOURNEYFIT LLC responsible for such occurrences. Where lockers or storage are provided, all care and no responsibility is taken for items contained within the lockers or storage facilities. Members must not carry out any illegal acts in the facility and must comply with all health and safety requirements. If a member carries out any activity which JOURNEYFIT LLC staff or management consider offensive or dangerous to you or another person, JOURNEYFIT LLC staff or management reserve the right to require you to leave immediately. This may also result in cancellation of membership.
The member will ensure they complete a pre-exercise screening questionnaire and waiver to hand to the trainer (or online) before commencing their first session. The member agrees to provide an accurate health and fitness profile prior and during engagement in an exercise program with JOURNEYFIT LLC. The member is aware that photography may occur during sessions and gives permission for this to be used for marketing purposes that may include but not be limited to, flyers, newsletters and the company website.
